Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
- Practically nothing. Building and downloading tickets requires no account and no personal information. If you contact us through a form on this site, we receive the name, email, and message you choose to include.
- The weekly email. If you sign up for the weekly email, we receive your email address, your confirmation that you are 21 or older, and which part of the page you signed up from. Form submissions are processed and stored by our host, Netlify.
- Hall of Fame submissions. If you submit a winning ticket, we receive the screenshot you upload and the name or handle you choose to include (optional). Anything else visible in the screenshot, such as an account name or balance, comes with it, so crop out what you don’t want to share. The screenshot is stored with our host until we review it, and it is read by an AI service (Anthropic’s Claude API) to transcribe the legs, odds and payout so we can check them against official results. We delete the screenshot after review. If your ticket goes on the board, the handle you gave, the sportsbook, the number of legs and the payout are shown publicly; the screenshot is not.
- Ticket results. If you ask us to email you how a ticket does, we receive your email address, your confirmation that you are 21 or older, and that ticket (its legs, the book and the stake). We store the request with our host, Netlify, until the ticket is graded and the result is sent, and then delete it. The email is sent from our Gmail account (Google).
- Anonymous analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami to understand aggregate traffic and feature use (pages viewed, referrers, and events such as a ticket pulled or a sportsbook button tapped). Neither uses cookies or collects personal information. We also keep our own anonymous count of new versus returning visits: your browser stores a simple "been here before" flag in its own local storage (not a cookie, nothing leaves your device except the anonymous count), which you can clear any time by clearing site data.
2. How we use it
Any information you send us is used only to respond to you and to improve the site. Your email address, if you give it to us, is used only to send the weekly email or the ticket result you asked for; every email includes a way to unsubscribe. Tickets you build or save stay in your browser; we don’t receive or store them, unless you ask us to email you a ticket’s result.
3. Who sees it
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Sportsbook buttons on the site open licensed sportsbooks, which operate under their own privacy policies once you leave ours. Some of those buttons may be affiliate links: if you sign up at a sportsbook through one, we may be paid a commission, and the site says so next to the button. We don’t send your email or any personal information to sportsbooks. We will disclose information only if required by law.
4. Data retention
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond and maintain basic records, and email sign-ups until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to delete either at any time (see Section 6).
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect any information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us through the form on this site. We will respond within 30 days. California residents: this policy is posted in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
7. Age restriction
Moonshot Parlays is intended solely for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
9. Contact
Moonshot Parlays is operated by an independent service provider (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
